PTA Board Meeting: April 21st
Join us on April 21st in the Media Center for our final in-person PTA Meeting of this school year. During this meeting, we will be celebrating our Board, Grade Connectors, and other School Volunteers, as well as doing some planning for the 2026/2027 school year - yes, you heard that right!
We know that there are so many talented volunteers in our community who have great ideas on how the PTA can support our school, and we want to hear your ideas. If you have suggestions on ways to spend our time and efforts, are interested in taking on a leadership role, or just want to listen in, we welcome you to join us. Being a part of the PTA Planning Workshop is an opportunity to shape your child's experience at Bingham Farms PTA programs and events. If you are unable to attend the meeting, you may still share your input with incoming PTA President, Samantha Silver.

Staff Appreciation Week: May 4-8
Help us show our gratitude to the amazing Bingham Farms Teachers and Staff. Throughout the week, the PTA will be hosting meals, snacks, and surprises for those who support our students each day. This year's celebration will have the staff blasting off to various destinations. Please consider donating a drink or treat to add to the appreciation week. All donations should be dropped off to the school office by 5/1. Thank you for your support!
All Hands on Deck!
Consider spending 30-60 minutes with us at lunchtime to assist with ice cream distribution or supervise lunchtime recess. You can choose to supervise your students in their play element or jump in and start up a game/activity. Do you love hopscotch, kickball, soccer, or basketball? If so, there are plenty of kids who would love to have you join them at recess. You can stay for the full time block or just your student's recess time (we appreciate what you feel most comfortable with).
Do you love the library, want to help at an event, or help out in other ways? We have opportunities for that too. Volunteer Opportunities are open to all parents, grandparents, caregivers, or other caring adults who would like to support our school. All volunteers must have a current iChat form on file with the office. Thank you for your time.

School Supply Sales: Discounts Until 5/31
Our ever-popular back-to-school supply sale will be returning this April-May with EPI. Last year, over 70% of our school participated in the program, and this year we hope to make it an even bigger participation. We work closely with our rep at EPI to keep costs low and help families avoid the dreaded summer shopping. The kits include items that the teachers specifically want, and in many classes, the supplies are shared. Kits purchased before 5/31 will be discounted to $62. 6/1-7/13, they go to the regular rate of $70 per kit (JK/K will stay at $62).
How it works:
- All incoming Jr. K through 5th-grade students will have the opportunity to order their supply kit.
- When you click on the link to order your kit, please enter our school code: BIN011
- Once ordered, the kits will be delivered to your student's classroom before the start of school on August 31st.
- The only thing not included in the kits are corded headphones, which all K-5 students need (not JK).
- If you have a neighbor or friend joining the school, please tell them about this opportunity. Help us get to 100%

Shop to Support the PTA
Kroger Community Rewards
Help our school while you shop. Under your Kroger Plus Card Account > Rewards > Community Rewards, you can select an organization that a portion of your sale goes to support! Choose AC809 for Bingham Farms Elementary and our PTA gets a check with no extra steps after you sign-up.
Box Tops for Education
A great way to support the school is through Box Top$ for Education. Long gone are the days of clipping the barcodes of cereal boxes or soup labels. Download the app, select Bingham Farms Elementary, and each time you shop at the grocery scan your receipt. It will auto calculate the donation and send it to our school! It is easy, and you don't need to know which food or supplies qualify for credit - the app checks for you. Now download that app while you wait for the bus, or in the pick-up gathering zone. Thanks for supporting our school, and be sure to share with friends and family too!
