Hello SES Community,

What an amazing week!

Under the guidance of our school counselor Ms. Bragg, our school participated in Red Ribbon this week by wearing different items of clothing each day along with learning what it means to live a healthy and drug free .

Secondly , I have had the pleasure of connecting with our 4 /5 students to talk about leadership and how they can help our school community by being a participant in our student council. Many of our 4 / 5 students are working hard on their posters and speeches for our student council elections in November.

Lastly , I would like to take a moment to thank our staff and parents that came out to our Shoreham Town meeting last week and to those who took time to fill out the survey. Your voice is greatly appreciated. It was great to see and hear the Shoreham pride!

1. If your child will be late or absent please call Irene in the main office.

2. Send your child with proper footwear for school (including sneakers for PE).

3. Students are not supervised outside / inside before 7:30 am.

4. If you are picking up your child at school please make sure to pick them up on the southern

side of the school NOT the northern side by the church.

Reminder: 11/2/25 Holiday Bazaar Fundraiser from 11am-3pm at school. We have a couple spaces left for vendors and would love to see family and friends stop by to shop the local products. Girl scouts will be selling food items and will also have an assortment of raffle items.

Stay tuned for the basketball schedule to be released 11/3/25 for the January-February 2026 season.

Bridport and Shoreham Grade Configuration Design Feedback

Last fall, Superintendent Baker held meetings with Bridport & Shoreham teachers and families to review student performance data and discuss how best to support greater academic success. This summer a working group of Bridport and Shoreham families formed a working group to help design a K-5 single-grade model at one school for the Board to consider for the 2026-27 year.

We now invite our ACSD community to offer feedback using this community survey which includes an overview of the Working Group’s design. All community feedback will be shared with the ACSD Board on November 10th. The Board will review the final design and all feedback in November to determine the 2026-2027 path forward for Bridport & Shoreham students.
