Power of the Pen STATE BOUND

Graham Middle School Power of the Pen has set a new bar at Regionals. First, the team qualified 10 out of 12 writers to Regional, which was a new high. Secondly, GMS has qualified 4 to the State Competition, which is also a new record for the team. Qualifying for Power of the Pen State are 7th grader Brynne Edwards and 8th Graders Kendall Nichols, Alayna Owens, and Daniel Spence. The State Competition is in May at Ashland University.

Fundraiser Kickoff - Info Coming Home Soon!!

Graham Middle School is teaming up with Century Resources to offer a Spring Fundraiser. The main goal is for students in grade 6 and 7 to raise funds for a future Washington DC trip.

This will be a variety sale with multiple catalogues to order from. Students can also provide online purchasing options. Through their online portals, they can also accept direct donations. Donations will be subject to a small processing fee. Outside of donations, students will earn 40% of sales towards their DC accounts.

8th graders who choose to participate can raise funds to support student organization costs through the Principal's fund. 8th graders will also qualify for special rewards should they choose to participate.

We will hold a kickoff during lunch on April 7th. Information will come home with all students on April 8th.

** This is the final fundraising opportunity for students headed to DC in the fall of 2025 (current grade 7 students).

Summer Theater Camp for Youth - June 26, 27, 28 - Limited Space!

Due to a generous grant awarded by the Mental Health Drug and Alcohol Services organization we have several $150 scholarships available for students residing in Champaign and Logan Counties this year. If a student applies for and receives a scholarship of $150 then no other fees will be due beyond the $100 registration deposit (so camp for two weeks would only cost $100). The deposit of $100 must be paid first with a completed registration form prior to requesting a scholarship application.

Completed scholarship applications must be returned to us via e-mail by May 18, 2025.

Stay up-to-date on Student Grades with Progress Book

Students all have access to Progress Book via their Clever logins. Parents can access through the same login they would have used last year. Any new families should have received an access key on Friday via email from Mr. Guidera.

Frontline Education has released the Progress Book Parent and Student Mobile App (aka Parent Access app) to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. This app is available for your parents/students to download and use now. For those that choose to download, the app takes the place of the mobile web version of Parent Access that parents and students have long used. In addition, Frontline has produced an overview video that can be shared with your users.
