A NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Exciting week! The official ground breaking happened with a ceremony at OES. We are so thankful for the support of our community and the work that is now underway from the referendum.
At OHS you will notice all kinds of new fencing and work that will be started on the new concession stand. It will contain the ticket windows and restrooms. Yes, you heard it correctly REAL plumbed restrooms! No more porta potties once it is completed when you come to outdoor events on that area of our campus. You can see the rendering of what it will look like when you walk towards the football field.
Please help us keep the access/fire lane free of vehicles to help us keep it easy for emergency vehicles to use the road for its intended purpose. We ask that you use only our parking lot or the marked parking spots behind the softball field. Any vehicles that are parked along the access/fire lane will be ticketed.
Thank you to Art Eichman for the photo below of our ground breaking ceremony.

Foxes Soccer Secures Third and Fourth Straight Wins
The Omro Boys’ Soccer team kept their winning momentum rolling this week! On Tuesday, September 2, they secured their third straight victory with a commanding 6-1 win over St. Mary’s Catholic. Playing in front of their home crowd, the Foxes dominated from start to finish.
Just two days later, on Thursday, they faced off against the Lomira Lions on the road and continued their streak with another impressive performance, finishing with an 8-1 victory—their fourth win in a row. Way to go, Foxes!
If you'd like to share any kudos or gratitude for our high school staff, please use this form to submit your positive comments and help us celebrate their great work!
IN THE KNOW
Fall Sports Fees
If your student signed up for a fall sport, those fees have been added to their Skyward account. If you have not paid those fees, they need to be paid as soon as possible to avoid them not being able to participate. Those can be paid online, or with check or cash to the HS office.
Safe Routes to School
As the school year kicks off, it’s a reminder for all of us to slow down and stay alert. Kids may be anxious, excited, and possibly distracted as they head to and from school – and their safety depends on us, the drivers who share the road with them. Let’s all do our part to keep them safe.

Athletics and Activities Attendance Policy (Condensed)
Students must attend the full school day to participate in practice or competition. To be eligible on a day with an absence:
Step 1: A parent must notify the office 24 hours in advance. For emergency medical appointments, parents must call before 8:00 AM the day of the absence. A medical note is required upon arrival.
Step 2: Student collects an excused slip from the office with the medical note.
Step 3: Student gives the excused slip to their coach/advisor before participating.
A parent may call a student in for personal reasons as long as they arrive before 2nd hour and are within their 10 excused absences for the year. Unexcused absences mean no participation until the next full day. Final decisions rest with the Dean of Students or Principal.
