Welcome to our first Oakbrooke PTA newsletter! We're excited to keep our families connected and share what your PTA is doing throughout the school year.
We recently treated our wonderful teachers and staff to dinner during parent-teacher conferences. Our membership drive is also wrapping up, and we appreciate everyone who has joined!

PCSSD Volunteer Card Info

•Fill Out Volunteer Application (this is at NO cost to you)
• Filling this application out does include a background check
• Having a Volunteer Card does NOT require you to "work" while at school functions
• A Volunteer Card is required to attend school functions (classroom parties, field trips, etc.).
• You will receive a confirmation email from SECURE VOLUNTEER
• You can also download the SECURE VOLUNTEER app on your phone and download your Volunteer Card to have available on your phone.
•You will be required to have your Photo ID and Volunteer Card upon check in at the School Office for school functions
• If you have not received a confirmation email, please call

Making a Difference
A big THANK YOU to everyone who has joined PTA, purchased a birthday yard sign, or supported us through a school shirt purchase! Your support helps us give back to our students, teachers, and school.We're excited to celebrate our membership drive with a popsicle party for the winning class during November! We'll also announce our raffle winners and treat our wonderful teachers and staff to Sonic drinks!

**Flu Clinic Reminder: A parent or guardian must attend with their student on November 9. All required forms must be completed and returned to the school nurse by November 2. Please complete both sides of the first two pages and include all required signatures. Incomplete forms may prevent your child from receiving the vaccine. Spanish forms are available in the health room.
