Photo Make-Up and Retake Wednesday, November 19, 2025
Our photographer, The Studio by the Sea, returns on Wednesday, November 19, 2025. If your student is new to the school or was absent during our photo days in October, you can have your child's picture taken on the 19th. All staff and students need to be photographed for school records, yearbook, and ID cards.

If your child needs their photo retaken, please have them bring in their original photo envelope to return to the photographer prior to the retake.

If there was a problem with your child's photo order, please contact The Studio by the Sea at hello@thestudiobythesea.com prior to Wednesday, November 19th.

If you’d like to place a NEW Order for photos for your child, please click the following link: The Studio by the Sea
This is only for new orders for new students, students who missed original day photos, and those who didn’t order from the original picture day.

Wreath Sale

The NRMS PTO is thrilled to kick off the 2025 wreath sale. This community tradition goes back decades and it's not only an opportunity to spread holiday cheer, but also put money in the bank for your students. A portion of every wreath sold by any student will be saved by the NRMS PTO for them to use in eighth grade. Tell your family, friends and neighbors about these beautiful 12-inch wreaths made of fresh Canadian pine (you can dust off the Canadian snow on Distribution Day!). Your student has received wreath sale instructions and an order form (see attached). The NRMS PTO is a registered non-profit with the state of Massachusetts. If you have any questions, please reach out to ptonrms@gmail.com

Nauset App Help Page

Families should download the Nauset App to receive school updates, alerts, and messages. Please note: some people have mistakenly downloaded the Thrillshare App instead. The Thrillshare App is for staff only and does not allow families to log in. To help, we have created the Nauset App Help Page on the district website under the Students and Families tab. This page includes written guides and short tutorials to walk you through downloading and using the app. Visit the page here: Nauset App Help Page

Hello NRMS Families,

The second quarter of the year started this week with students now attending their Q2 exploratory courses. While the exploratory courses operate on a quarter system, our year long courses have trimester marking periods. The first trimester ends at Thanksgiving with the first report card published in December.

Winter athletics begin soon. Please plan to attend the virtual information meeting on November 19. We will also host a virtual information meeting for parents of 8th graders to review the details of the new York City trip. More information and links for both of these meetings is included in this edition of the newsletter. We really need some assistance from parents to help organize fund raisers for the NYC trip. If interested, please contact Principal Cohen or Mr. Peterson.

A reminder that there is no school on Tuesday of next week, November 11 in honor of Veterans Day. That is a good day for students to get caught up on any missing assignments to be on track to end the trimester in good standing in each of their courses.

Enjoy the weekend.

Peter Cohen, Ed.D.

Principal
