PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Thank you to Ms. Michaud for leading the school in a sing-a-long to start off our assembly. Congratulations to all of our FMS Academic, 3 Pillars, and Artist of the Month award winners; and shout out to Ms. Metrano’s, Ms. Styles’s, and Ms. Gerrish’s homerooms for winning this month’s Chain Reaction Challenge. I continue to be inspired by our students’ hard work and for cheering on their peers when recognized. Our assemblies truly have a community feel!

This time of year can be tricky to celebrate students' attendance with SO MUCH sickness going around. Balancing having students attend school with the need for them to stay home when they are sick is a challenge. Nonetheless we feel it is important to maintain attendance in our monthly recognition. Congratulations to Mr. Deane’s, Ms. Gagnon’s, and Ms. Wheeler’s for winning this month’s attendance challenge!

Next week is vacation week. I hope you are all able to enjoy some time together, catch up on some downtime, and enjoy the snow.

-Ross

INVEST IN ME READS

Greetings Gr. 1-5 families,

We are reaching out to you regarding the Invest in ME Reads financial wellness program, brought to you by the Finance Authority of Maine (FAME). Through this program, children and their families receive free books and online resources that help make learning about money simple and fun.

We hope that you enjoy sharing the newest book with your child. You’ll also find fun activities, games, and a reading guide for each book at InvestinMeReads.com.

After you have explored the program, FAME invites you to participate in an online survey to share how this program has helped your family. Families who complete the survey may enter to win a $100 Amazon gift card in the Invest in ME Reads Giveaway. To access the survey, please visit Invest in ME Reads.

The survey deadline is March 31, 2025.
