Hello, Leroy Nichols Families!

This last week, we successfully held another Cougar Card Store! A special thank you to Ms. Becca and our wonderful parent volunteers for making this fun, student resource possible.

Happy Labor Day! Please remember that there is no school tomorrow, Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. We hope all of our families enjoy the holiday and the extra time together.

We have a lot to look forward to this week!

• On Wednesday, Nichols and our PTA will be co-hosting our Gather with Grandparents event. Please see the flyer below for additional details. We are excited to welcome our VIP grandparents to campus!

• Wednesday is also our first Spirit Day of the year as we celebrate the official kickoff of the NFL season. Students and staff are invited to wear their favorite football attire and join in the fun!

• Please also note that Wednesday will be a minimum day. A reminder for our Special Day Class Preschool families: Students will not have class on Wednesday, as our teachers and paraprofessionals will be attending professional development.

Finally, Parent-Teacher Conference invitations have been sent out by teachers. If you have not yet received an invitation, please reach out to your child's teacher or contact the school office for assistance.

We look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Tuesday!

Leroy Nichols and our amazing PTA want to take a special moment to honor the wonderful grandparents in our students’ lives!

On Wednesday, September 9, we are hosting a special breakfast for students and their grandparents to gather, enjoy a meal, and spend meaningful time together. Doors will open at 7:15 a.m.

A huge thank you to our incredible PTA team for their time, hard work, and dedication to supporting Leroy Nichols, our students, and our school community. We are so grateful for all you do to make special moments like this possible!

Parent Café will take place every Thursday through November 5. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with other families, build community, and share in meaningful conversations.
