Thankful Thankful

As we get ready to head into the last week before Fall Break, we just wanted to take a moment to share how thankful we are for all of YOU! A parent shared this week, as she was reflecting on her son's experience in special education, that "special education teachers make a huge difference every single day and that matters now, more than ever." The work you all do is inspiring and we appreciate the heart you bring to this work every single day.

Bend-La Pine Schools Celebrates National School Psychology Week Bend-La Pine Schools Celebrates National School Psychology Week

During the week of November 3–7, Bend-La Pine Schools joined the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) and school communities across the nation in celebrating National School Psychology Week (NSPW). Last week honored the many contributions of school psychologists and the vital role they play in supporting students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success.

This year’s theme, “Finding Your Path,” highlights the ways school psychologists help students, families, and educators identify goals, navigate challenges, and build the skills needed to thrive. Through their expertise in consultation, collaboration, and evidence-based practices, school psychologists empower others to find routes that align with their unique strengths and needs, paving the way for growth and well-being across our schools.

We extend our gratitude to all our dedicated school psychologists for the meaningful impact they make every day. Their commitment to helping every student learn, grow, and thrive is an essential part of our district’s mission to ensure success for all learners.
