Eagle's Nest Early Learning Center

The Eagle’s Nest Early Learning Center serves children ages 6 weeks to 3 years in a licensed childcare facility located on the Rogers Elementary School campus. We are licensed to serve up to 54 children and follow a published, research-based curriculum for all age groups. Eagle’s Nest is also a 4-Star Texas Rising Star program, reflecting our commitment to high-quality early childhood education.

Our center exists primarily to serve the children of Rogers ISD employees and operates on the RISD work schedule calendar. When space allows, we are happy to welcome families from the Rogers community. Notification of available openings is typically shared in June for an August start date. We also accept Child Care Services (CCS) through Workforce Solutions of Central Texas.

Children at Eagle’s Nest are provided with daily opportunities to learn, explore, and grow, both inside the classroom and outdoors. We are especially excited to offer children their own outdoor space where they can explore nature, build gross motor skills, and enjoy the freedom to move, run, and play.

We are incredibly grateful to the families who entrust us with their children each day. It is a joy to watch them grow, learn, and thrive during these important early years. If you have any questions about our programs, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we are always happy to connect with you.

Our Infant & Toddler Program Our Infant & Toddler Program

In our Infant and Toddler classrooms, learning begins with relationships, movement, and responsive care. We understand that babies learn best on the floor or in the loving arms of a caregiver, where they feel safe, supported, and free to explore. Our environments are thoughtfully designed to encourage discovery, comfort, and development at each child’s individual pace.

Using the Frog Street Infant Curriculum, our caregivers focus on nurturing the whole child through daily routines and meaningful interactions. Infants and toddlers develop:

  • Gross motor skills through tummy time, crawling, cruising, climbing, and safe movement on the floor

  • Fine motor skills by grasping, reaching, manipulating toys, and self-feeding

  • Social and emotional development by forming secure attachments and trusting relationships with consistent caregivers

  • Language and communication skills through responsive conversations, songs, books, and storytelling

  • Cognitive development by exploring cause and effect, problem-solving, and sensory experiences

  • Self-regulation and independence through predictable routines and gentle guidance

Our caregivers are highly responsive—observing, listening, and engaging with each child to support their unique needs and interests. Daily care routines such as feeding, diapering, and napping are treated as important learning moments, fostering connection, communication, and trust.

To maintain a clean, safe, and healthy learning environment, we are shoe-free in all classrooms. This helps keep floors clean for babies who are learning and exploring at ground level.

At every stage, our goal is to create a warm, nurturing space where infants and toddlers feel secure, valued, and confident—laying the foundation for a lifelong love of learning.

Our Preschool Program for 3s Our Preschool Program for 3s

Our Preschool 3s classroom is a joyful, engaging learning environment where children build confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning. We support the development of the whole child through hands-on experiences, purposeful play, and meaningful relationships.

Children in our Preschool program grow across all developmental areas, including:

  • Social and emotional development by learning to express feelings, cooperate with peers, and build positive relationships

  • Language and literacy skills through conversations, storytelling, songs, and early writing experiences

  • Early math and cognitive skills by counting, sorting, problem-solving, and exploring patterns

  • Physical development through daily movement, fine motor activities, and outdoor play

  • Approaches to learning such as curiosity, persistence, and independence

Our classroom is supported by a certified teacher for half of the day, providing intentional instruction and preparation for kindergarten readiness.

Through nurturing guidance, structured learning, and play-based exploration, our Preschool program helps children feel confident, capable, and excited for what’s ahead.
