LB Reads Summer Reading Program
Reading is Sweet!
Read a book or books. You can read anything you want - there is not a required reading list!
Log the book on our short and simple Book Log Form by Monday, August 17, 2026 at 9am.
Celebrate with us in August! We will go on a field trip to the Dairy Queen in Daleville for a Summer Reading Celebration! All participants will receive a sweet treat on us!
Keep reading! For each additional book you read and log you will receive another LB Reads Scratch Off Prize ticket. All tickets are winners!
Looking for a Good Book?
Check out these great recommendations from the LB Reads committee. All of these titles are available on SORA.
Parking Application
The Parking Application for the 26-27 school year is now open. The application is located in the students' grade level Google Classrooms.
Students who plan to drive to school and park at LB, at any point during the 2026-27 school year, please complete the Parking Application. Parking spots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis for those who complete the application correctly and in its entirety.
Passes can be paid for and picked up during our business days later in the summer, and ALL drivers MUST attend a mandatory Volunteer Activities policy meeting BEFORE parking on school property.

Sports Physicals
Dear Parents and Guardians,
I want to remind you that Virginia High School League (VHSL) physicals are valid for 14 months from the date of your athlete's last examination. It's crucial to keep this in mind as physicals may expire during the sports season. I urge you to verify that your athlete’s physical is current and in good standing.
If your athlete needs a new physical examination, you can easily access the necessary VHSL physical form via this link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RuSs631yiqZ5nllCgvvo2Cj84JTRPpJx/view.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need assistance.
Thank you,
Mr. Fulton
