Hello Fernbrook Families

As we wrap up another amazing year at Fernbrook School, we want to celebrate all that our PTO and school community accomplished together. Thanks to the generosity, dedication, and countless volunteer hours of our families, we were able to support enriching educational programs, host fun community events, provide resources for our students and staff, and create memorable experiences throughout the year. Highlights included the exciting return of the Harlem Wizards, along with family events, special celebrations, teacher appreciation initiatives, and successful fundraising efforts that helped strengthen our school community.

Thank you to everyone who gave their time, talents, and support this year. We are proud of all we achieved together and grateful to be part of such a wonderful school family. Wishing all of our students, families, teachers, and staff a happy, healthy, and relaxing summer. Enjoy the break, and we look forward to seeing you in the fall!

Family Buddy Program: Sign Up, Today!

Are you a current Fernbrook family and are interested in helping a new family in town? Good news! We have just the program for you!

To welcome new families to our school and help them get acclimated more quickly, the Fernbrook PTO is proud to announce our Family Buddy Program.

This program will pair new Fernbrook families with existing Fernbook families so they can be a helpful and friendly resource. Buddies are here to answer any questions about Fernbrook, the PTO, and Randolph in general.

Fifth Grade Committee (2026-2027) Announcement

Great News! We are proud to announce that the Fifth Grade Committee for the 2026-2027 school year has been finalized: Teri Fitzpatrick, Kristen Luizza, Christin Narath, Jaimie Pasterick, Sandra Valle and Stefania Zangari. They will be working very closely to create fun and amazing experiences for our upcoming fifth grade class next year. A special shout out to them for assisting with the Fifth Grade Ceremony ceremony- thank you for coming to school the night before and the day of so early to decorate our blacktop- it was beautiful!

Thank You: Play Day

We wanted to send a note of thanks to all our amazing Room Parents for their help and assistance with volunteering their time to give out water and watermelon during Fernbrook’s fun filled Play Day event. The weather was perfect, and the students had so much fun. In addition, we also wanted to thank Maschio's for providing the water and watermelon and Dana Pineiro and Brittany Bassett for assisting with the ice pops.

Thank You: Moving Up Ceremony/Fifth Grade Events

This past Tuesday, the final Fifth Grade event occurred: the Fifth Grade Moving Up Ceremony. Families were able to attend the beautiful outdoor ceremony to watch their students be recognized for the many areas they were involved in this year and academic achievements. Congratulations to Natalie Bassett and Jaxson Louis on being the recipients of the Judith Olshan Character Award. We are so proud of our Fifth Graders and their achievements.

The Fernbrook PTO would like to thank the Fifth Grade Committee (Susan Cece, Stephanie Levin, Kellie Milos, Stephanie Pedrick, Tiffany Basdekis, Erin Moranski and Dana Pineiro) for all of the events that were planned and coordinated for our fifth grade students. We would like to thank the Fifth Grade Volunteer Group for their assistance in all of our events. Thank you to Dr. Bernal, Mrs. Amin, Mrs. Branch, Mrs. Frankel, Mr. Patel, Mrs. Cutri, Mr. Martinez, Mr. Othatz, Mr. Kerr, Ms. Green, Mrs. Killimett, Mrs. Misiunas, Ms. Robinson and Mrs. Scott for all of their help and assistance this year- we appreciate our partnership with you all.
