This week we had our final lesson on writing engaging Realistic Fiction stories. We practiced with different leads and experimented on which lead works best with our stories. We analyzed the scoring guide to show how each lesson we’ve had throughout the unit is covered in the proficiency scale. We finished up with the proper formatting of our stories. Next week is the final week. It’s due Tuesday the 29th and we will have a publishing party on the 31st. Students are encouraged to bring snacks to eat as they read each other’s stories.
