Principal's Message

Reutter School Families,

As we look back on this past week, our school community took time to reflect on the legacy of 9/11 and commemorate Patriot Day. On Friday afternoon, we held a moving program, bringing together students, staff, and community members to honor our nation’s history, strength, and unity. We extend our sincere gratitude to the Franklinville Volunteer Fire Company, the Township of Franklin Police Department, and the Franklinville VFW for joining us and for their steadfast service to our community.

In the library, our students enjoyed browsing a wide selection of titles at the PTO’s Annual Fall Scholastic Book Fair, picking out new stories for their independent leisure reading. Meanwhile in the classroom, students began completing their beginning-of-the-year diagnostic assessments in Math and ELA, giving our teachers valuable insights to support academic growth this school year.

Thank you to all the parents and guardians who attended our annual Back to School Night and PTO Meeting on Thursday evening. Your presence and active partnership truly set the tone for a successful year ahead.

Looking forward, we invite all parents and guardians to complete our annual Character Development Anonymous Survey. This year, the survey includes crucial questions regarding student attendance, which directly supports our school’s Attendance Action Plan to help reduce chronic absenteeism. Your feedback will establish an important baseline for both our School Safety Team and Attendance Committee.

Additionally, we want your input on our end-of-year sixth-grade traditions! The final two questions of the survey offer space to share your thoughts on the Sixth Grade Trip and the Commencement Ceremony.

  • Deadline: The survey will remain open until Sunday, September 27 at 11:59 PM.

Thank you for your ongoing support of our students and school community.

Educationally Yours,

Mr. Theodore Peters

Principal

Caroline L. Reutter School

Honoring, Remembering, and Standing Together

On Friday afternoon, the Reutter School community gathered to mark the 25th Anniversary of 9/11 and commemorate Patriot Day. Students, teachers, staff, and community members stood shoulder-to-shoulder to reflect on our nation’s resilience, unity, and strength.

The moving program featured remarks from our Student Council leaders, Principal Mr. Peters, and Music Teacher Mr. Griffin.
