Ambler Elementary Families,
Our Kids Heart Challenge program is here! By signing up, your student will be learning the importance of heart health, hands-only CPR, and raising awareness for the American Heart Association. We will also have lots of heart lessons throughout the month in PE class, too.
If 50% of our students sign up on our school’s team site, we will earn $500 for new PE and recess equipment!

February 2nd - 6th
We are so grateful for our school counselor, Mrs. Claudia Long, and the care, compassion, and dedication she brings to our school each day. Mrs. Long supports our students socially and emotionally, always taking the time to listen and encourage every child. She helps to make our school a safe, supportive place where students can learn and grow. We are truly thankful for all that she does for our students, families, and staff.
The 3rd Nine Weeks Progress Reports will go home on Thursday, February 5th.
PTO Hat Day is on Friday, February 6th. Bring $1 to wear a hat and support our wonderful PTO.
Our Archery Club has a tournament on Saturday, February 7th at Greenville Tech Charter High School. Please note that students will not meet on Thursday, February 12th or Thursday February 26th.
Our 4th graders will be traveling to the Roper Mountain Science Center for a field trip on Tuesday, February 10th.
There will be no school for students on Friday, February 13th or Monday, February 16th. Enjoy your 4 day weekend!
The PTO Heart Fundraiser will run from February 17th to February 27th. PTO will send home more information soon.
Our 5th graders will be traveling to Pickens Middle School on Tuesday, February 17th.
Greenville Drive Reading Logs are due to Mrs. Cox on Wednesday, February 18th.
The Performance Task Assessment will be administered to students who have demonstrated high aptitude or achievement but do not yet fully qualify for gifted services. Students in this category will be tested on February 18, 19, 24, 25, and 26, as well as March 3, 4, and 5.
Our All Pro Dad program will be on Friday, February 27th from 6:45 - 7:15 a.m. More information will be sent out closer to the date. We hope to see you there!
Somebody Loves You, Mr. Hatch by Hector Elizondo- Listen to the story of kindness about a lonely man's life transforms when he receives valentine, teaching community connection.
