November
Stronger Together: November's Focus on Teamwork
November is here, and we are shifting our focus to Teamwork.
Teamwork is about working together toward a common goal. It means learning to listen, encourage one another, celebrate each other's strengths, and recognize that we all have something valuable to contribute.
We have just wrapped up parent-teacher conferences, a great reminder that we are all part of a team when it comes to our students. Our teachers, parents, and students each bring something important to the table. When we communicate, work together, and share a common goal, we create the strongest support system for our children. Teamwork doesn't stop at the classroom door. It takes all of us!
One of the most important things we can teach our students is that we are stronger together.
Teamwork means making space for every voice. It means recognizing that our differences are strengths and that we can learn so much from one another. It means celebrating not only individual accomplishments but also the success we achieve when we work together.
So this November, let's lean into teamwork. Let's encourage our students to build one another up, listen with intention, share responsibility, and recognize the important role each person plays in our classrooms and school.
We have incredible people in this building, and when we bring our strengths together, there is so much we can accomplish.
Let's continue reminding our students that we don't have to do it alone. We are better when we do it together.

Volunteer vs Visitor
We love having families join us at McDeeds Creek! If you plan to volunteer in a classroom or assist with school activities, please make sure your volunteer background check is completed. If you're simply visiting to have lunch with your child or attend a musical or school event, you only need to check in at the front office and receive a visitor badge. Thank you for helping us keep our students safe!

Stronger Together: Teamwork
This November, we are focusing on Teamwork! Teamwork is about learning to work together toward a common goal, recognizing each other's strengths, listening to different perspectives, and encouraging those around us. Families can help reinforce this at home by celebrating one another's accomplishments, offering genuine compliments, finding ways to work together, and looking for opportunities to pay kindness forward. Remind your child that being a good teammate means making sure others feel included, valued, and supported. Whether at home, at school, or in our community, we all have something important to contribute. After all, we are stronger together!
2nd Annual Jingle Bull Fun Run
Join us for the 2nd Annual Jingle Bull Fun Run! This year, we're adding even more holiday fun with a ½-mile Holly Jolly Bull Trot and a 1-mile Family Obstacle Run. Bring the whole family, dress up for our group costume contest, and compete together with a family package that includes a flag to decorate and carry as a team!
But don't head home when the running is over! Stick around as the sun goes down for a holiday outdoor movie night! Bring a blanket, grab some popcorn and drinks, and enjoy hot cocoa and cider from our food truck. It's a night of family fun, holiday memories, and all things McDeeds Creek Bulls!
