Dream Academy Principal's Message

Message from the Principal

Dear Students and Families,

Welcome back! I hope everyone enjoyed a restful and joyful Thanksgiving break. It was wonderful to see our hallways buzzing again this morning — even if we all had to crunch through a bit of fresh snow to get here.

With winter finally making its grand entrance, temperatures are dropping fast. Please make sure students are bundled up each day with coats, hats, gloves, and anything else that keeps them warm on the way to and from school. Safety and comfort matter, and we want everyone arriving ready to learn, not shivering their way into first period.

Believe it or not, we now have just three weeks left in the semester. This stretch is always a mix of excitement, focus, and momentum. Our teachers are ready, our students are capable, and together we’re prepared to finish the semester strong. Let’s keep attendance high, energy steady, and goals in sight as we head toward the winter break.

Thank you for your continued partnership and for supporting our school community. Here’s to a productive, positive, and warm return from the holiday.

Warmly,
Principal Mary Mangione

Congrats to our bowling team for qualifying for the Super Six Tournament -- AGAIN! They will be away on 12/4. Volleyball is away on 12/5. We will be hosting Chess in the library again on the Tuesday after we return from Thanksgiving (12/2) so please be aware as you move through the space. There should be no students in the library during that time who do not have an appointment with their counselor or social worker.

DREAM FOOD PANTRY

DREAM Academy Staff members have been collecting nonperishable food items for families in need. If your family is in need of these groceries, students or families are able to pick up bags of food here at Dream Academy. As we continue receiving donations, it is helpful to hear from families what nonperishable groceries families are in need of. If you would like to utilize our food pantry, please fill out the Google Form Survey provided in the following link. Thank you!
