Haslett Robotics Club Tournament Ramp-Up
Haslett Robotics Club (HRC) is getting ready to host it’s annual Mid-Michigan Robotics Weekend January 17th and 18th! It’s an exciting weekend with fast-paced, collaboration-based matches featuring a whopping 90 teams from across the state, 21 awards, and 12 qualification spots for the Michigan VEXRC IQ/V5 State Championships in March 2026.
An all-volunteer ran event, the weekend consists of a full day of VEX IQ (Jan. 17th) teams as they tackle this year’s game Mix and Match, and a full day of VEX V5 (Jan.18th) teams competing in this year’s game, Push Back; featuring HRC students from Dewitt, East Lansing, Haslett, Holt, and Okemos. Come to Haslett High School and be a spectator or sign up as a volunteer because we are still in need of volunteers!! Check out the link below to see what’s available and SIGN-UP!! *Hours count for National Honor’s Society* It’s a great way to support HRC, have an introduction to robotics, and get a close-up view of what these amazing students can accomplish.
HRC is a non-profit, volunteer-ran organization that provides a STEM-based extracurricular club engaging 4th-12th students from across the Mid-Michigan area in designing, building, coding, and driving robots, coding and driving drones; along with learning the engineering process in a student-led environment and competing in tournaments throughout the state of Michigan. For more information about HRC visit haslettrobotics.com or visit our Facebook page.
