🏠 Local Scholarships
Below is the email that went out to all of our Seniors:
Hi Seniors,
Local scholarship applications will be available starting Monday, February 2.
Scholarships can be found in the Guidance Office and on the Local Scholarship Spreadsheet. I will send the spreadsheet out via email on Monday, February 2nd.
Please remember that every application requires a copy of your transcript. If you complete an application electronically, it must be printed and turned in to me in the Guidance Office.
If you need your completed applications printed, you can email them to me and I will be happy to print them for you.
Most scholarship committees are requesting typed applications this year. If you would like a paper copy of the application to reference I have copies available in Guidance.
Please note that some applications have additional requirements. Some may require a short essay, and others may require one or two letters of recommendation. Be sure to carefully read the directions for each application.
The deadline for most local scholarships is March 30, but be sure to check the specific deadline listed on the spreadsheet for each scholarship.
This is a great opportunity to possibly earn extra money towards college. We are very fortunate to have so many wonderful organizations that continue to offer these scholarships each year.
If you have any questions, feel free to stop by Guidance—I’m happy to help.
