Principal's Message
We wrapped up our last FULL week of the school year! We had our Scholars Night celebrating academic excellence, a fun TNT Dunk Squad assembly brought to us by PTA to celebrate the ending of this year, and 4th graders participating in California Day. Our kindergarteners participated in their own Olympics and also enjoyed a visit from our SRO officer. In addition, our VEX Robotics club students were able to have their first competition. These are the kinds of memories our Litel Lions will remember!
In case I don't get a chance to see you in person, I'd like to thank all the Litel parents for a wonderful, welcoming first year as the new principal. I thank you for your patience, understanding, and grace as I realize it can be difficult to embrace change. Litel is a wonderful school shaped by the dedicated teachers, staff, students, and families who are proud to call Litel home.
I wish all of you a relaxing and fun filled summer. I can't wait to embark on the next school year together!
PTA News
- Huge shout out to our PTA for providing so many fun events, field trips, teacher and staff appreciation for our Litel families! We can't wait for next year.
- Yearbook reminder: there are only 20 yearbooks left! 6th graders will get their yearbooks on Monday first then everyone else will get theirs on Tuesday.
Thank you to these wonderful parents who have stepped up to serve on the PTA Board for 2026-2027 school year! We're so excited. If interested and would like to learn more about the other positions, feel free to email litelPTA @gmail.com.
PBIS
Thanks to all the hard work and effort by ALL of our teachers and staff for providing the multi-tiered systems of support, Tier 1, 2, and 3, Litel was able to be eligible for Platinum recognition. This includes the teaching of schoolwide expectations, various ways students are acknowledged for following the ROAR, and for providing additional supports and interventions to students that need it.
Wednesday, 5/20 is a FULL day
Thursday, 5/21 is a MINIMUM day
6th Grade Promotion Reminders
- The promotion ceremony will be held outside on the field.
- Parents and families do not need to check in at the front office for this event. Please line up along the sidewalk behind the sign closer to the sanctuary gate area. Once all students enter for school, we will allow families in for the promotion at about 8:15 AM.
- Parents and families are only to REMAIN in the promotion field area.
- Seating is limited. We will set up as many chairs as we have. Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.
- If bringing balloons, we will ask you to put off towards the side area to avoid obstructing others' views of the ceremony and students.
- Once the promotion is completed, parents may sign out their child to be able to go and enjoy a celebration meal. Students will be signed out by their teacher, not the office.
- While we want to celebrate, please remain courteous to one another by following directions for photos. As each student is called for their promotion certificate, parents will be allowed to come forward to take a photo and return to their seat.
- There will be plenty of time for additional photos AFTER the ceremony.
- We thank you in advance for a smooth promotion ceremony.
Participation in this last Student Council dress up day would be for everyone except our 6th graders since they will be dressed for promotion. Enjoy!
Report Cards & Supply Lists
Report cards will be sent home on the last day of school, Thursday. Included you will find a suggested supply list for the next grade level to give you time over the summer to gather.
