Dear Strasburg Elementary Tribe,

As we wrap up the final days before winter break, I want to thank our families for their continued support and partnership. We’d like to invite you to join us for our classroom holiday parties on Friday, December 19th at 2:30 PM. We always enjoy celebrating this special time of year together. We also hope to see you at our Culture Night on Wednesday, December 17th from 4:30–6:30 PM, where our 3rd graders will showcase their projects, traditions, and learning. These events are wonderful opportunities to connect as a school community. We wish all of our students and families a warm, restful, and joyful winter break!

Four Houses One Tribe

School ends on December 19th,

The halls ring out with laughter—

“We did it! What a scene!”

Backpacks zipped and mittens tight,

We step into the frosty light,

Ready for days of snowy play,

Hot cocoa cups, and time to stay.

We build snowmen with carrot noses,

Read cozy books while the fire glows,

Make paper stars and cookies sweet,

And stomp warm boots through snowy streets.

The days drift by like flakes that fall,

Soft and quiet, one and all.

Then suddenly—it’s time to go!

Back to school through winter snow.

On January 6, 2026, we return again,

With stories to share with every friend.

But until then, let laughter shake—

It’s time to celebrate Winter Break!
