Head of School Updates

As we enter the Holiday Season, I hope this time provides opportunities for everyone reading this message to enjoy meaningful moments with friends and family. The school calendar creates a two week time period when we can all reset and recharge before returning to school on Monday, January 5, 2026 to kick off the new year!

I also want to extend my sincere appreciation to every member of our Sussex Academy community who has contributed to our Soaring Higher fundraising campaign. Since August, the generosity of so many has helped us raise $99,797.83. We are incredibly grateful for your continued support. These contributions directly support investments that enhance our campuses and help our students explore, experience, and excel at the highest level.

We have a few spots remaining for TOMORROW'S Blood Drive-- Help our Scrub Club "sell out" their Holiday Blood Drive.

Please consider donating blood during our Winter Blood Drive on Thursday, December 18th, from 8 am to 1 pm to support our community and the Scrub Club!

In addition, every unit helps support the Blood Bank's scholarship program for a Sussex Academy student!

We are excited to announce a school-wide raffle fundraiser to support Sussex Academy Senior High School students in grades 9–12. Funds raised will directly benefit upcoming class activities, events, and student experiences throughout the school year.

To make this fundraiser successful, we are asking for your support. Our goal is to sell 2,000 raffle tickets, and we are encouraging each Senior High School student/family to sell 20 tickets. Your participation plays a vital role in helping us reach this goal and provide meaningful opportunities for our students.
