FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Greetings fellow Educator for Social Justice,

We enter this school year with our hearts and minds open to the immense value and potential of our students and the communities we serve. Additionally, we see the academic and societal forces that seek to separate, stifle, and silence. Seeking to create more inclusive and equitable learning environments, we have planned a year of diverse activities designed to empower and enrich our community of educators. We invite you to continue to support our mission and goals by becoming a member, participating in our events, and donating to our cause.

As you peruse the calendar of upcoming events, please consider participating in our 15th annual curricular conference. This year’s theme is “Joy as a Form of Resistence” and we have opportunities for volunteers, presenters, and attendees. We hope to see you there or at one of our other events.

In solidarity,

Board of Directors
