Sixth Grade Transition Day
We’re excited to welcome our incoming 6th graders for Junior High Orientation on Wednesday, May 7th, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. This event will be hosted by JLHS Student Council, who are eager to give these future students a warm introduction to Jayhawk-Linn Junior High. During their visit, students will tour the building, meet teachers and coaches, and get a glimpse of what to expect as they begin this new chapter.
All Jayhawk Trip to Main Event
Students who qualified for All Jayhawk will take a trip to Main Event in Olathe on Thursday, May 8. We will leave at 8:20 and return to school at 2:30. Students are responsible for bringing the permission slip to school by Wednesday, May 7.
Attendance Matters
Every day counts—especially as we wrap up the year. Whether it is completing final projects, preparing for exams, or wrapping up missed assignments, your student’s presence is essential to their success. Please help us reinforce the importance of daily attendance.
Grade Check-In
Now is the time to double-check grades and ensure that all assignments are turned in. Encourage your student to advocate for themselves, ask questions, and utilize Hawk Time with teachers for support.
