There is ancient Hebrew saying, “Give honor, where honor is due.” Hemlock Public School District is launching a Hall of Fame. The Hall Fame which is now open and accepting applications through the end of April 2022 features three categories of recipients, Distinguished Alumni, Athletic honors, and Significant Contributor. The Hall of Fame is accepting applicants in all three categories but only induct one member per year and will rotate between the three categories.

Board President Matt Wesner said, “We have so many fantastic people that have contributed to our district in so many ways over the years. We wouldn’t be where we are today without everyone of those people. This is a way for us to honor and recognize some of those individuals across a multitude of areas.”

The district has rich history of honoring individual accomplishments and contributions over the years, but this will add another opportunity. It is amazing to see how many alumni of Hemlock High School have gone on to accomplish big things along with those that given of their time, energy, and efforts to make the school a better place for students. Make your nomination today by clicking here.

Stay tuned for more information about the Hall of Fame and the review process as we get closer to the deadline for nominations. For more details or other positive happenings contact Hemlock Public School District at (989) 642-5282.

Calling all gardners!!!

Seed library is out and ready for our gardeners. We are also sharing that if the seed library is to continue next year, everyone who takes seeds has to remember to harvest seeds at the end of the season and bring then to the library to restock the seeds. We also thank our volunteer Lisa, who continues to do the hard work of finding us seeds, sorting, labeling, and keeping everything in stock so we have seeds to share. Without her we wouldn't have a seed library! #visityourlibrary #wearemorethenbooks #MyRML #community #librariesmatter
