First Sunday Update 12.7.25
Dear Pierce Families,
As we step into the month of December, I want to take a moment to reflect on the many wonderful experiences we shared together in November. It was a month filled with community, learning, and gratitude.
Our “Harvest Auction” was a tremendous success, thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of our Pierce families and supporters . Your support helps strengthen our school community and provides valuable opportunities for our students.
Our 7th graders had an unforgettable time at Nature’s Classroom in New Hampshire, where they learned, explored, and built lasting connections with each other and their teachers. We are proud of how they represented Pierce.
Throughout the month, we also celebrated moments that highlight the importance of compassion and service. World Kindness Day gave students and staff a chance to practice small acts of kindness that make a big impact. We also held Early Release days for Parent/Guardian Conferences, which provided meaningful opportunities to connect and discuss student growth. And of course, students and staff had a great time on Dress-Up Day, bringing creativity and joy into our halls, while sharing a delicious turkey dinner together prepared by our wonderful Cafeteria Team. This was another highlight that reminded us how fortunate we are to be part of such a caring community.
As we move into the holiday season, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for our Pierce families. Your engagement, partnership, and support help our school thrive. We are excited for all that December will bring, from continued learning, to moments of celebration and connection.
Wishing you a warm, joyful, and peaceful start to the month.
With gratitude,
Principal Whitmore
