WELCOME BACK!

Welcome back! Today is a Blue Day Schedule. Students will be attending Blocks 1, 2, and 3 today. Tomorrow is a Gold Day where students will be attending Blocks 4, 5, and 6. Classes begin at 9 a.m. and dismissal is at 2:30 p.m. this week. New students will participate in Welcome Week activities starting at 2:30 today.

OCSA'S 40TH ANNIVERSARY - WELCOME WEEK

Welcome Week begins today! Be sure to enjoy a donut this morning between 8:15 and 9 a.m. in the Lisa Argyros Commons. New students should attend the Welcome Week Buddy Activity from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. this afternoon. Room locations for the Buddy Activity are posted throughout campus. Friday is the Welcome Week Festival from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the Lisa Argyros Commons for both new and returning students and their families. Come join us as we celebrate the start of this milestone year with live student performances, more games and food vendors than ever before, and plenty of fun for the whole family! MOCK TRIAL INTEREST MEETING

Are you interested in becoming part of OCSA’s award winning competitive Mock Trial team? Mock Trial teaches public speaking skills and the law by competing against other high schools in a fun, authentic trial environment. Auditions are August 17-20. Come to our interest meeting Thursday, August 13, at office hours in T110. This opportunity is only open to current 9th and 10th grade students. If you cannot make the interest meeting, the slides and information will be on the audition Google Classroom, code jr7dubwt.

BUILDING ACCESS

To access buildings when they are locked during class, please press 1 and the last 4 digits of your student ID number, then the # key on the keypads outside the doors and gates. Your student ID can be found on your schedule and in your Aeries account.

TEXTBOOKS

If you don't have your textbooks yet, please go to the book room on the second floor of the Tower for textbooks Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

LOCKER CHANGE REQUEST

Please complete this Google form for a locker change request. Please note that not all locker change requests will be granted. Changes will be considered for either broken locker/lock or mobility/accessibility issues. We cannot guarantee a locker change request because of a building location.

FINGERPRINTING

Students who have never been fingerprinted need to go to the cafeteria on the second floor of the Tower in the morning before school starts. You will need to know your ID number, which can be found in your Aeries account.

PICTURES/ID CARDS

Students who did not attend On-Campus Registration and have their picture taken will receive their OCSA ID card after they participate in Picture Make-Up Day on Wednesday, September 23.

CONSERVATORY SCHEDULES

Conservatory classes begin on Monday, August 17 and are not finalized on your current class schedule. Conservatory schedules will be available in Aeries on Monday, August 17 by Block 6. Students who are unable to check their Aeries portal can come to Student Services in room T101 for a printed schedule.

SCHEDULE CHANGES

High school students requesting schedule changes are to fill out this form. Middle school forms are available in T100. Teachers will notify counselors if a level change needs to be made. The schedule change deadline is Friday, August 21 for academic classes.

For conservatory schedule changes, you must request a change with your conservatory director. The deadline for conservatory schedule changes is Friday, August 28.
