Submitting an Absence in ParentVUE
Absences are submitted from the Attendance tile. If you have more than one student, confirm the correct student is selected at the top of the screen, then click Report Absence.
On the Attendance screen, click Report Absence in the upper right corner.
In the Report Absences window:
- Select the Type of Absence: All Day, Arrive Late, or Leave Early. Middle and high school families also have a Classes option for specific class periods.
- Confirm the Start Date. It defaults to the current date.
- Choose a reason from the Select A Reason dropdown.
- Enter an explanation in the Note field. This field is required.
- Use Add doctor’s note or document to attach a physician note or other documentation, if applicable.
- Click Save.
Submitting an absence sends a request to the school office. It is not recorded until office staff accepts it, at which point it appears on your student’s attendance record.
i-Ready Results (Grades 2-5)
After your child completes testing, results can be accessed electronically.
Please note that the For Families diagnostic results report is easily accessible from your child’s i-Ready dashboard. In lieu of being backpacked home, this will be considered the primary method for providing these results to you. Please click the button for directions on how to access the report.
Please note: The code for accessing reports is only good for the current school year. Once the school year is over the code no longer works, so please print or download your student’s report as soon as possible.
Curriculum Night 9/1
Parent-Only Event:
Families are welcome to attend either session listed below. The grade level sessions will be hosted by the classroom teachers. The same material will be covered in both sessions. This format will allow parents to attend sessions for multiple teachers, if necessary, and ensure that they receive a comprehensive overview of what to expect throughout the school year. It also provides a chance for parents to meet the teacher, understand classroom expectations, and learn about the key curricular topics their children will explore. More information regarding Curriculum Night will come closer to the date from your child's classroom teacher. This is a parent-only event.

Bus Backpack Tags
Bus Rider Families
It is essential that your child’s bus backpack tag remains securely attached to the top loop of their backpack.
Please take a few minutes to ensure that your child’s tag is clearly visible and securely fastened. If a replacement tag is needed at any time, please notify your child’s teacher and the school office as soon as possible.
Thank you for helping us keep our students safe!
