Clinton Primary Weekly Update 9/4

Dear Clinton Primary Families,

It has been an amazing opening to the school year! All of our new Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade students had a fantastic start. They arrived happy, eager to learn, and have already begun mastering our classroom structures and daily routines. We are so proud of how quickly our students have settled in!

Skill of the Week: Introducing Yourself

Each week, our students focus on a "Skill of the Week" designed to build our Clinton Primary community. These skills are introduced during morning announcements and reinforced through classroom lessons throughout the week.

This week's focus is Introducing Yourself!

Tips for Parents to Share with Children at Home:

Practice a friendly greeting: Teach kids to smile, make eye contact, and say, "Hello, my name is..."
Share fun facts: Encourage children to share simple details like their favorite color, hobby, or pet.
Use play and props: Have younger children practice using a toy microphone or a stuffed animal to build confidence and ease shyness.
