Halloween October 31
🎃As Halloween approaches, please take note that students can wear orange and black rather than costumes. We are celebrating all things fall, including some not so spooky Halloween themed games and art activities. Due to allergy and safety concerns, please do not send in candy for the class, as food cannot be shared among students. If you would like to pack a sweet treat for your child, be mindful of the allergy policy in your child's classroom. If you have specific questions, contact your child's classroom teacher and Julie Martin.

PAC Meeting 10/23/24 at 6 pm
Our next PAC meeting is next Wednesday at 6 pm. I hope you can join us! A link will be shared next week if you are unable to join in person. I hope to see you there.
Parent/Teacher Conferences in November
Parent/teacher conferences will take place in November on the evenings of the 7th, 14th, and on the early release day on 11/15. Your child's teacher will be in touch with you with more details. This is an opportunity to discuss your child's adjustment to preschool, their progress to date, and ask questions of your child's teacher.
Tour for Prospective Families October 28 at 6 pm
There will be a tour of DFP for prospective families on Monday, October 28 at 6 pm. Please share this information if you know anyone interested in the 2025-2026 school year. If you would like to attend, please enter the building through the main office of Elm Street School (located behind the building as you enter, look for the large orange Elm Street School sign). Daniel Feeney Preschool is a shared building with Elm Street School and we are located at 415 Elm Street Walpole.
Re-Enrollment for 2025-2026 School Year
It is hard to believe, but we are starting to plan for the 2025-2026 school year. If you have a child at DFP and wish to return, please complete the survey below.

New Peer Applications for the 2025- 2026 School Year
Peer applications for the 2025-2026 school year will be available online in January 2025. Applicants will be selected via lottery system and there will be more information about the application timeline and process in November. Please be sure to check our website regularly and follow the preschool on the WPS app for all 2025-2026 school year information.
A Reminder, Tuition is Due on the First of Each Month
payments can be made online: www.myschoolbucks.com
You will be notified by our School Business Office if payment is not received.
DFP Friendship Directory
There is still time to add your name to our Friendship Directory by clicking the link below, the Directory will be sent home this week so there is still time to join.
Clothing and Footwear Reminders
Please label all of your child's clothing and be sure their footwear is appropriate for our playground . Sneakers or close toed shoes are best for running, jumping, playing, and riding tricycles. As the colder temperatures approach, be sure to label coats/jackets and when the time comes, MITTENS are highly preferred over gloves!

Arrival and Dismissal Reminder
- Please drive slowly when on school grounds at all times. This is for the safety of our students and staff.
- If the doors are closed at arrival, please drive to the main office at Elm Street School.
- Please make every effort to be on time for both arrival and dismissal.
