2nd Annual Regional Elementary Curriculum Showcase*

When: Thursday, January 26th

Time: 5:30-7:00 PM

Location: Victor Falls Elementary

This district event will feature:

• Our Elementary core curriculum in Language Arts, Math, and Social Emotional Learning for each grade level.

• An opportunity to view our 5th grade Human Growth and Development (puberty) and HIV Videos
• Opt out forms will be available after viewing the videos for current 5th grade Human Growth and Development.

• Meet and talk with some of our THE Elementary staff as well as teachers in nearby SBLSD schools.

• Obtain information about 2023-24 Kindergarten Registration and programs like READY for Kindergarten.

• Visit resource tables hosted by elementary specialists in PE, Music, and STEM.

• Light refreshments available

*This is an adult event to provide parents with information about the elementary curriculum. There will be no activities for children nor childcare available.

*Wed., Jan 18th, 6:30pm, T.H.E. Launchpad – PTA General Membership Meeting. Guest Speaker Principal Knight to give us some insight into the Tehaleh Heights “School Improvement Plan.” Get the inside scoop on our annual PTA fundraiser and schoolwide T.H.E. Kindness Campaign coming up in February! We’re incorporating some fun new pieces! Starbucks raffle drawing from those in attendance.

*Fri., Feb 10th, 6:30-8pm in the Launchpad – FAMILY HAPPY HEART DANCE for all Trailblazer families! Free, DJ, games and crafts, cupcakes for sale! We're also hosting a Teddy Bear donation drive the night of to benefit pediatric patients at the Multicare Bonney Lake ER. (All stuffed animals accepted, new from store preferred.)

*YEARBOOK PHOTOS: We need your photos for the school yearbook! Grinch play, Tehaleh Heights sports teams, Trailblazer spirit days, holiday spirit days, Back To School Night, First Day of School, Trailblazer Takeover events, Trunk or Treat, Book Fair – we’ll take it all for consideration! We are so looking forward to the SBLSD STEM Fair on February 25th, 2023. As in past years, one of the most exciting ways we can encourage student participation in the event is through student projects.

All students K-12 are encouraged to submit and showcase a project related to science, technology, or engineering at this year's event.

Registration is currently open, with the extended deadline of January 20th, 2023. Please note: student projects do not need to be completed by this date - we just need to know that they plan to complete a project.
