Can you believe the Spring Fling is ONE week away? Have you bought your tickets yet? We sure hope so! We would love to see our entire community come together for this beautiful evening of fun! Spring Fling is instrumental in providing additional funding for our students and a great way to meet new families, teachers, and staff. We hope you join us on Friday, April 26th at 6pm at Artifact Events. All information is included below, including how to purchase tickets, items to bid on, and much more. Don't miss this once-a-year opportunity to #BeBateman!

2024-2025 Planning

Kindergarten Registration is currently open for all in-boundary families. We would like to have all Kindergarteners enrolled by mid-May. The earlier families register, the more we are able to prepare to welcome our newest class! All registration information is available below and on the Bateman Website. We appreciate your help with this!

Lastly, if your child/children are currently in K-7th grade but will not be attending Bateman next year please complete this form and stop by the main office to complete the transfer paperwork. Although we do not want to see any of our families leave, we do need documentation to ensure we can plan classrooms effectively and share student records with the new school. The lineup of items this year is amazing, from tickets to sporting events, swimming lessons, overseas and local trips, local restaurants, shows, spa packages, and more! Anyone can bid, so please tell your friends. SIGN IN HERE to get your bidder number so you can be prepped and ready to outbid your friends on your favorite things!

The Silent Auction runs from Wednesday, April 24th at 9am through Saturday, April 27th at 8pm.

All Sign up Parties will be opened first to tickets spring fling guests, but will open up to everyone on the auction site on Saturday, April 27th!

Please join us for the April and May LSC Meetings. All are welcome to attend meetings to learn more about the Bateman experience, share ideas and feedback, and celebrate news with the community. If you are not able to attend, the agenda and previously approved minutes are available on the Bateman website. All meetings will be in person this year. We hope to see you there!

Opens April 1st!

Out of Boundary Enrollment

Elementary school offers will be released on March 22, 2024 at about 4 pm. Families will receive an email the day results are released with instructions on how to view offers, check waitlist status, accept/decline offers, etc.

The Chicago Early Learning Application launched on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.

Mark the date on your calendar to apply during the Initial Application Period for the 2024–2025 school year. During this initial enrollment window, families will be able to submit early applications to help increase their chances of getting into competitive early education programs across the city.

Looking Ahead at Bateman

Join us on Saturday, September 14th, as the Fire takes on the New York Red Bulls. The match begins at 7:30pm at Soldier Field. Bateman will receive $5 per ticket sold to benefit our Physical Education and Athletics departments.

Important Updates for the High School Application Process

The high school rolling waitlist will open on Monday, April 1, 2024 at 10 am. Waitlist offers will go out to families as schools make them. Remember, only programs that have not met their capacity will make waitlist offers.

The accept/decline deadline for students who received high school offers was March 15, 2024, at 5 pm. Students can no longer change their decision; all offers left unanswered after the deadline were automatically changed to DECLINE. Any families who changed their minds after the deadline will need to join the rolling waitlist once it opens on April 1, 2024.
