Attention all Champlin Park PSEO students and families: Attention all Champlin Park PSEO students and families:

The safety and security of students is our number one priority. In order for us to know where your student is at all times, we ask the following:

1. Full time PSEO students should be working on their coursework on the college campus, or at home. If your student needs to speak with an adult at school, please have them schedule a meeting ahead of time. If your student is involved in an after-school activity, we ask that they not enter the building until the activities scheduled start time.

2. Part time PSEO students that have transportation should also be working on the college campus or at home during their designated PSEO hours. If your student has a transportation NEED, or if their PSEO hours are nonconsecutive, they can work at school in the LMC. The only students who should be doing PSEO coursework at CPHS are students who have to take the bus to and from school, have nonconsecutive PSEO hours or need access to WIFI if they do not have it at home.

3. Any PSEO student who is doing coursework at CPHS must remain in the LMC for the entirety of the hour. PSEO students are expected to follow school rules and guidelines, including the new district cell phone policy. PSEO students are not allowed to work anywhere else in the building. PSEO students who have a PSEO class during 4th hour can go to 1 lunch period.

4. If PSEO students are at school for advisory, they are expected to attend, and attendance will be taken. If students have in person PSEO classes during the timeframe that advisory is happening, or if they are not working in the building, then they will not be expected to attend. The attendance secretaries will be monitoring and adjusting those absences.

We appreciate your help and support.

Check ParentVue for Student Fees Check ParentVue for Student Fees

As part of the preparations to return to school, please check your Fees tab in ParentVue. We had 575 unreturned items at the end of the year, and any materials your student has out are listed in the Fees tab. This can include library books, textbooks, or Chromebooks not renewed last year, as well as any damages assessed for those items. Please make sure those items are returned or paid for so your student can start the year with a clean record and so that all students have access to the materials they need for class! If nothing is listed there, your student does not owe us any materials. Thank you for taking care of any obligations on day one. If you have questions about fees, email cphs@ahschools.us. - Library and Technology Staff

Get Involved in Your High Schooler’s Journey! Get Involved in Your High Schooler’s Journey!

Even as students grow more independent, involvement remains key to their success. Research highlights that high schoolers with connected families and caring community members achieve higher grades, build stronger social-emotional skills, and have a smoother transition into life after high school.

Your time and support make a lasting impact on our school community!

To learn more about volunteer opportunities this year, please complete or update the CPHS Volunteer Application (required every new school year).

If you have questions about getting involved, please reach out to HSVolunteerServices@ahschools.us

Complete back to school forms online, now Complete back to school forms online, now

It’s time to get ready for the upcoming school year! Families may complete back-to-school forms online:

  • Visit ahschools.us

  • Select “login” from the menu.

  • Select “family login.”

  • Proceed to complete back-to-school forms for the 2026-27 school year.

Why it matters: It’s important that each family completes the verification process and the online back-to-school forms before the first day of school. Verification ensures that each student’s school has confirmed emergency contact information and releases for the safety of each student.

What’s in it for you: Even if families’ contact information has not changed, it’s important to log in to access a variety of other student information in the coming weeks, including:

  • Class schedules and teacher assignments.

  • Transportation information, if relevant.

  • Receive additional educational benefits, discounts and reduced fees.

  • High school students will not be able to enroll in fall activities until the back to school verification process is complete.

Anywhere, on-the-go: Families may complete the verification on their own time, whenever it’s convenient. If you prefer to utilize the ParentVUE mobile app to access your student’s information, please note that the app has been updated. Read more about downloading the updated version of ParentVUE.

Have a game plan: Fan expectations to ensure safety at school events Have a game plan: Fan expectations to ensure safety at school events

Safety at school events continues to be a focus area for the district and surrounding communities. Anoka-Hennepin Schools are committed to creating experiences that showcase the talents of student-athletes in an environment that promotes healthy competition. The district continues to implement safety and security practices to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for participants and spectators.

These guidelines limit entrance to students at participating schools with identification and adult supervision for younger students and increased presence of staff and support personnel amongst other strategies in place to keep our activities safe.

As your family makes a plan to attend school events, keep the following guidelines in mind:

  • Bring student IDs and allow extra time for admission and entry. Students from the hosting and visiting schools are welcome with student ID. No student ID, no entry. Students from any other schools/non-participating schools must be accompanied by an adult chaperone.

  • Allow extra time for admission and entry. Increased security may mean lines are longer at the entrance gate. Ticket sales time frames may be adjusted during the event, and admission may be denied based on site capacity. Please plan accordingly.

  • Plan for parent/guardian chaperones in accordance with district guidelines to monitor student activity and behavior. The student-to-adult chaperone ratio is 2:1. Adult chaperones are expected to supervise middle and elementary school students they escorted to the game at all times. Adult chaperones are NOT allowed to leave the stadium without their students. Adult chaperones and students who are unable to follow these guidelines may be asked to leave the facility. Students from any other schools/non-participating schools must also be accompanied by an adult chaperone.

  • Get behind your team! Spectators are expected to view the event in the appropriate designated seating area.

  • Leave extra items at home or in your vehicle. Backpacks, large bags/purses and outside food or drink (if concessions are sold on-site) are not allowed. Anoka-Hennepin prohibits weapons, alcoholic beverages, e-cigarettes / vaping, tobacco products and controlled substances.

  • It takes everyone to keep school events and activities safe. If your student, you or anyone in your family sees something or hears something suspicious or threatening in nature, report the information to school leadership or law enforcement immediately.

  • Powders and/or airborne irritants prohibited: Students who introduce baby powder or other airborne irritants at events will be removed from the activity and are subject to disciplinary action consistent with district policy. Powders are a health risk and they are prohibited at all events.

Spectators who are unwilling or unable to follow the rules, regulations, or directions from event staff may be asked to leave the event.
