We are half way through quarter one and conferences are just around the corner. Seniors will have student led conferences in the fall and should have received their sign up by today. Underclassmen will have traditional conferences on a drop in basis. Conferences are on Wednesday October 7th in the evening and Thursday October 8th during the day.

As a reminder, if you have a doctor's note to excuse an absence, it must be an original copy or be faxed to the high school from the professionals office.

We will not accept photocopies of doctors notes.

We LOVE noticing the GOOD at LHS. Students can receive a positive office referral (PAWSitive) for things staff are seeing that are above and beyond...AWESOME. Students are sent to the office for a water and a healthy treat and a picture that we post in the hall. Speaking of treats...we LOVE healthy treat donations. Individual snacks for students to grab when they come to the office or bottles of water are appreciated. Send them to the office with a note: PAWSitive Office Referrals.

The high school takes finals at the end of each semester. It is important that students are in attendance. This semester finals will be on December 16th, 17th, and 18th.

Thank you for making these days an attendance priority.

VISION/HEARING SCREENINGS

We will have these screenings on 9/30 and 10/1. These are OPT IN. If you would like to have your student screened please email our Nurse Torrie Battle (battlet@usd416.org).

LHS parents/guardians,

They should complete this form asap with their students updated health information. This was not included in the original forms that were completed at the beginning of the school year due to a system error, but it is a required form. The issue has been fixed now and the form has been activated.
