PTA Weekly Update

Good morning Huskie Families,
We did it! A HUGE, HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who was involved in the Spring Fling. The kids had a blast at the beach party! Spring Fling is a large undertaking each year, and your time, energy, and support made this event unforgettable for our kids and community.
A special thank you to our Spring Fling sponsors: Mr. Duck's Car Bath, Twinkle Star Dance Academy, and Ultimate Ninjas Academy, and for the generous support of Chick-Fil-A (Bolingbrook), iCode-Naperville, and Area 51.
The next all-member PTA Meeting is this Thursday, April 30, at 9:30 a.m. in the MPR. Officers for the 2026-2027 school year will be elected at this meeting.
Just in time for spring planting and Mother's Day gifting, we are holding a fundraiser at Keller's Farmstand on May 5 and May 9. See below for all the details.

Please join us in the Multipurpose Room for our monthly all-member PTA meeting. It will be held on Thursday, April 30 from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Officer elections for the 2026-2027 school year will be held at the end of the April meeting.
The board will meet to discuss upcoming plans, events, and more. You can ask questions, and hear from a guest Spring Brook staff member. Can't attend in person? Join via Google Meet.
Show Support and Gratitude for Our Teachers
Throughout the week, the PTA will be honoring our amazing Spring Brook teachers and staff with tokens and gestures of our appreciation.
It's a Spring Brook tradition to have a parent-sponsored during lunch during Teacher Appreciation Week. This special gesture of appreciation makes a big impact, and it's a wonderful opportunity show our collective gratitude for our teachers' hard work and dedication.
The sponsored lunch will take place on Tuesday, May 5. We believe it will be a meaningful way to express our thanks and support. Your participation in making this happen would be invaluable.
If you'd like to contribute to this special lunch, please consider sending any amount you feel comfortable with via Zelle to the Spring Brook PTA account (springbrooktreasurerpta@gmail.com) by Friday, May 1.
Your generosity and support mean the world to us and to our teachers. Thank you for always being there for our school and for helping us create memorable moments like this.
Get Your Flowers at the Keller's Farmstand Fundraiser
Earn money for the school while you pick up gorgeous flowers and plants! Stop by Keller's Farmstand in Naperville on May 5 and May 9, and present the attached flyer. Ten percent of all sales - on flowers and plants as well as other items - will go back to the Spring Brook PTA.
Where: Keller Farmstand, 516 Knoch Knolls Road, Naperville
When: Tuesday, May 5 and Saturday, May 9
Hours: Weekdays 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., Weekends 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
And bonus, this is just in time for Mother's Day! Why not grab an extra plant for a mother-figure in your life?

As the PTA looks for new ways to partner with the community to enrich the lives of our students, we are expanding our sponsorship program for events during the 2025-2026 school year.

Luciana Rodriguez, thank you for running the raffle and letting us get in the LMC early to set up! You tell us every year it’s your last, but never say no when we keep asking! We are so lucky to have you!
Thank you to Jackie Schneider and her Glow Party Crew for creating a magical night for our 5th graders! They will not forget it!
Thank you to all of our amazing teachers for staying late to practice and perform in the Teacher Dance, especially Miss Schnorr for organizing! Thank you for letting us use your rooms and offering to help out - it truly makes a difference! Mrs. Ziarko, Mr. A and Mr. Fordonski - we could not do this every year without your help and support. Thank you for putting up with our crazy!
Thank you to all of the Room Parents for putting together some truly outstanding raffle baskets! I am blown away each year with what you guys come up with!
Thank you to Mr. Worst and Mrs. Smith for sending out all the emails we requested and getting the kids so excited for Spring Fling!

And to all of our amazing volunteers, THANK YOU! We know making popcorn and cotton candy, setting up, cleaning up, and trying to follow along with our craziness and chaos is not glamorous, but the kids smiles are so worth it! We couldn’t have done it without ALL OF YOU! 💛
