Fun, Fire, and Finish Lines!
Join us for the Color Run tonight!
Our PTO has put in a ton of work to make this an incredible event for our students and families-- be sure to stop out and show them some support! If you are able to volunteer for part of this event, please see the link below!
Fire Safety Week
This week, our K–2 students had the exciting opportunity to learn from the Cold Spring Fire Department! Firefighters visited our school to share important lessons about fire safety, how fire trucks work, and why it’s so important to make safe choices around fire. Students loved seeing the trucks up close, learning about the equipment, and discovering who to call in case of an emergency. A big thank you to our local firefighters for teaching our students how to stay safe and for being everyday heroes in our community!

CSE PTO Presents: The Color Run!
Today is Color Run day, and it’s shaping up to be our biggest yet — over 230 runners and $24,316.50 raised so far!
To make it a great experience for the kids, we still need some extra hands — there are about 40 volunteer spots open, including helping toss color powder along the course (the kids’ favorite part!).
If you can spare a little time, please sign up today and join the fun. Every volunteer makes a huge difference — and it’s such a joyful way to be part of the day!

Students of the Week!
What is a Student of the Week?
At Cold Spring Elementary, our Student of the Week program is an important part of our PBIS framework and the Spartan Way: Be Kind, Be Respectful, Be Responsible. Each week, one student in every grade (K–5) is recognized for consistently demonstrating these values. Winners are celebrated with an announcement over the intercom and get to choose from a fun menu of prizes, such as having lunch with a staff member or writing with a special pen. By highlighting positive choices and celebrating students who model the Spartan Way, we encourage all learners to see the impact of kindness, respect, and responsibility in their daily actions. This focus on the positives helps build a supportive, motivating school culture where every child feels valued and inspired to do their best.
Congratulations to our Students of the Week!
