May Ranch School Goals Highlights
Goal 1: Math: Number sense
What is Number Sense?
Number sense is a child's ability to understand, relate to, and work with numbers in flexible ways. It’s like having a “feel” for numbers, which helps children make connections and solve problems more easily. When children develop strong number sense, they don’t just memorize answers — they understand how numbers fit together, which helps them in all areas of math.
Goal 2: School Connectedness
Our goal is make school a fun and exciting place to learn! One of the ways we bring community to our school is to show our school spirit on Fridays! We love seeing our Scholars with their big smiles!
Goal 3: Family Partnership
Thank you to all our parents that are supporting our PTA to make Candy Leis for our Trimester Awards! We also have our October ELAC meeting this Wednesday. Please join us!
Goal 4: Literacy
Our 5th graders are working on the novel, Hatchett. They are improving their comprehension by developing digiatl representations and identifying the main idea.
Thank you to our Bilingual Aide Mrs. Rodriguez for supporting our Students!
