Thank you to everyone who came out for our annual Walk to School Day! It was a wonderful way to start the morning and celebrate being active together as a school community.
Our 1st–3rd graders also had the opportunity to experience the Berwyn Fire Department’s Smokehouse this week. Inside the mobile classroom, students learned important fire safety lessons such as how to stay low and crawl under smoke, how to test doors for heat, and how to safely exit a home in case of a fire. A big thank-you to our local firefighters for providing this valuable, hands-on learning experience!

Next week, we’ll also be hosting our Book Fair! Students can bring money to purchase books during the school day. Families are invited to shop after school on Wednesday and Thursday until 3:30 PM.
Finally, our annual Trunk or Treat event is quickly approaching. As of now, we only have eight cars signed up to participate. If we don’t have more families volunteer to decorate their trunks and hand out candy, we may have to consider canceling the event. Please sign up HERE if you’re able — it’s a highlight of the fall season for our students!
