How does chronic absenteeism impact students?
Chronic absenteeism, defined as missing 10% or more of school days, poses a significant challenge for students, families, and educators alike. Students who are chronically absent often struggle to keep up with their peers, and the emotional impact can be significant. Many feel isolated from their classmates, which can diminish their motivation and engagement.
