Dear Liberty Hill ISD families and community,

On behalf of the Liberty Hill ISD Board of Trustees, I want to thank you for your continued support and dedication to our district. As we move forward in our search for a new superintendent, we remain committed to transparency, community engagement, and selecting a leader who shares our vision of Building Champions in Academics, Character, and Community.

The superintendent search process will follow a structured timeline to ensure we find the best possible candidate to lead our district. Below is the projected timeline for the search and hiring process:

Travis Motal will remain the Liberty Hill ISD interim superintendent through January 2026. Mr. Motal has been with our school district for over six years and has played an active role in guiding us through growth and budget-related challenges. Given his experience and our trust in his leadership, the Board of Trustees believes his continued presence will provide needed stability as we navigate upcoming changes. The Board will evaluate next steps toward selecting a permanent superintendent in January.

Throughout this process, we are committed to keeping our community informed. We look forward to working together to find a leader who will continue the tradition of excellence in Liberty Hill ISD.
