Eligibility Policy - Importance of Keeping Up with Grades

LVA faculty, staff, and administration want every student to enjoy the full range of school experiences. However, Las Vegas Academy's fundamental mission is to help students earn a high school diploma and prepare for future success. If students fall behind, have low grades, or risk losing credit, they may become ineligible for these special opportunities beyond the classroom. These may include field trips, travel, senior activities, and other conservatory-related opportunities. To ensure everyone understands the expectations for grades and participation, parents and students should review the Eligibility Policy together.

CLASS OF 2027 - SENIORS & PARENTS CLASS OF 2027 - SENIORS & PARENTS

Scholarship and College Acceptance Trick or Treat Challenge

Hello Seniors!

We know many of you are receiving notifications that you've been accepted to universities and offered scholarships. Well, we want you to share that information with us! We have a healthy competition going with all of the other high schools in the district, and we think Las Vegas Academy Students are being accepted to the MOST universities and receiving the MOST scholarship offers. So, for this spooky season, we are running the "Scholarship and College Acceptance Trick or Treat Challenge."

Step 1: View this short video on HOW to fill out the "26-27 LVA Student Scholarship Data Collection" form.

How to Complete LVA Scholarship Form - Watch Video

Step 2: Fill out the form with the information you currently have -- we know that more offers may be coming your way! When they do, you will fill out the form AGAIN with the new information! Remember -- we want to know about ALL of the offers, even if you are not planning to attend that university. This includes offers under WUE -- Western Undergraduate Exchange. If a university is offering you the WUE tuition rate, that is considered a scholarship offer. Link is below:

https://forms.gle/HWyf7WNjZfbnuTCf9

Step 3: Take a screenshot after you submit the form—bring that screenshot to the counseling office during lunch by Thursday, October 29th, and receive a TREAT (no tricks, we promise).

We know you're all amazing - show us! If you have questions, reach out to your assigned counselor:

Mrs. Cychulski -- Theatre, 2D/3D Visual Arts, Dance

Ms. Kitchen -- Band, Guitar, Jazz, Photography, Video Production, Media Arts, Graphic Design, Orchestra

Mrs. Banda -- Mariachi, Piano, Technical Theater, Vocal
