From Principal Honeycutt
Winter weather certainly had other plans for us over the last two weeks! Thank you for your flexibility and continued support as we adjusted schedules and transitioned to remote learning most days. As shared by the district’s Communications Department, to help make up for lost instructional time, next Thursday, previously scheduled as an early release day, will now be a full school day, and Friday, which was planned as a workday, will also be a full school day for students. I know schedule changes can be challenging, and I appreciate your understanding as we work to meet the state's instructional requirements.
If you have concerns related to attendance or special circumstances (especially with these recent calendar changes), please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly. Our school is committed to working closely with families to support the well-being and success of every student.
As you know, students have 5 days to submit remote learning day assignments. The submission of these assignments is also important because it counts for student attendance. As a reminder, here are the due dates for the 3 most recent remote learning days.
- remote day 2/2/26 - work due 2/10/26
- remote day 2/3/26 - work due 2/11/26
- remote day 2/4/26 - work due 2/12/26
Thank you for your continued support and for being such a strong partner in your child’s education.
-Nicholas
