College Access Day Was A Success
On Thursday, September 17, College Access Day was held at Mayland Community College. High school students from Mayland Early College were given the chance to converse with representatives from colleges and universities all across the region. Students were able to ask questions, gather information, and take an important step in planning their futures. Early College Success Advisor, Dustin Hughes, states, “It was a great opportunity for the students to learn about multiple colleges and what the colleges offer all in one setting. The feedback from the students was positive and they were excited to learn about other colleges.” From freshmen to seniors, College Access Day was an exciting and beneficial experience.
