Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! I have proudly served in education for over 17 years, and I am excited to begin my fourth year leading The Brilliance School.

This year, our theme is “Victory to Legacy.” For me, this means moving beyond celebrating what we have accomplished and intentionally building something that will last. We are leaning into what it truly means to operate in excellence every single day.

As your principal, my commitment is to lead strong—supporting and holding our staff accountable, setting high expectations for our scholars, strengthening relationships with our families and community, and keeping academic success at the center of everything we do.

I believe our scholars can achieve at high levels. I believe our staff can deliver excellence. And I believe our families and community are essential partners in this work.

We can reach excellence, but it will take all of us. This year, I courageously challenge our entire Brilliance community to push beyond what is comfortable, reach for the stars, and build a legacy our scholars will be proud of.

Can you believe it? We are officially ONLY 12 DAYS AWAY from the first day of school! We are so excited to welcome our scholars and families back to The Brilliance School on August 19!

I cannot wait to see everyone, and I am especially excited for you to see all of the amazing updates we have made throughout the building this summer. Our team has been working hard to make Brilliance beautiful, welcoming, and ready for our scholars. You are going to love it!

We believe that recognizing our scholars is an important part of building a Culture of Excellence.

This year, we are excited to introduce our NEW Student of the Week Certificate!

Each week, scholars will have the opportunity to be recognized for:

• Being Respectful and showing kindness to others
• Being Responsible and making good choices
• Staying Focused and giving their best effort
• Excelling and challenging themselves to reach for the stars
