We are excited to kick off our schoolwide Reading Month celebration, “Going for Gold: One Page at a Time!” Throughout the month, students will build their reading stamina, set goals, and celebrate every page they read as they work toward their own reading gold medals!

Join us for a fun-filled Bingo night where students can win books to grow their home libraries! It’s always an exciting event and a favorite during Reading Month.

We can’t wait to celebrate reading with your family. Thank you for helping your child go for gold — one page at a time! 🏅

We will soon begin the process of assigning students to classrooms for next year. We want parents to know this is a task in which we invest much time and effort. Our goal is to create a balance in our classrooms with the primary aim of finding a good match for every student. We consider interests, learning styles, and academics to help aid in placement for the next school year.

Classroom teachers, specialists, and administration come together to review and plan for the transition of students to the next grade level.

We believe all Silver Ranch teachers are highly qualified and we strive to ensure all students receive quality education. At this time of year parents often wish to make specific teacher requests on behalf of their child. We will not be accepting specific teacher requests, however; we do want to provide you an opportunity to share specific needs you want the staff to keep in mind when we place your child. If you feel there is a special or unique circumstance that applies to your child, please complete the online form by clicking the button below.

REF: Summer 2026 Camp Edventure Registration

Dear Parents/Guardians of current K-4 BPS Students,

Camp Edventure is a free, four-week, elementary, summer school program that is offered at Bismarck Public schools. Children whose parents live in the Bismarck Public School District and are entering grades 1-5 for fall of 2026 are eligible to attend Camp Edventure. The goal of CampED is for children to maintain or improve their academic skills in reading and math.

DATES: June 1st – June 26th, 2026 (4 weeks)

TIME: 8am - 1pm

REGISTRATION WINDOW: February 2nd – March 31st, 2026

• TRANSPORTATION: Busing service is not provided for Camp Edventure. Parents/Guardians will need to provide transportation.

• BREAKFAST/LUNCH: CampED meal options will be communicated in May by your registered CampED school.

• ATTENDANCE: Registration is for the entire 4-week session, if your family has attendance conflicts, please contact your CampED school principal to share conflicts.

Parents/Guardians can register their BPS student/s for CampED online through PowerSchool. CampED registration opens Monday, February 2nd and continues through Tuesday, March 31st, 2026. All registrations received before the deadline will be guaranteed a spot in CampED. Late registrations will be placed on a waiting list, and parents will be notified if space becomes available. Each child attending CampED needs to have a form completed and signed by a parent of legal guardian.

Directions to register online:

• Login to PowerSchool at https://bismarck.ps.state.nd.us (If you don’t have a login, contact your child’s school office to get started.)

• Once you’ve logged in, click on the “Forms” link on the left side.

• Select the “Camp Edventure Registration Form” filing it out with your student’s information and submit.

Beginning in March all families will receive an email confirming your students’ CampED registration. Confirmations will be sent on a weekly basis through the end of March. After registering, if circumstances change requiring your child to be withdrawn, please notify your student’s school as soon as possible so that a child on the waiting list can be placed.

Paper registration forms are available and should be returned to your student’s current BPS school office. Please contact your current school office if you have any questions.

The Band Night Parade takes place Friday, May 8th at 6:30PM.
