2026/27 School Year - Issue 5
FIRST FULL WEEK IS IN THE BOOKS!
Well, Blue Devils… we officially survived our first full week of school! And what a week it was!
Our students jumped right into learning, working hard on their IXL Diagnostic assessments and showing teachers what they already know—and where they’re ready to grow. Meanwhile, classrooms across North Middle were buzzing as teachers dove into their content and began settling into the routines of another school year. The summer break is officially a distant memory!
But apparently, learning wasn’t the only thing happening in our hallways this week. We discovered that some of our teachers and students have been spending a little too much time coordinating their wardrobes! From matching colors to full-on twinning, we caught several pairs looking like they planned their outfits together. Coincidence? We’ll let them explain. Check out a few of our favorite “Who wore it better?” moments from the week!
Great minds think alike… and apparently, they wear pink! Ms. Pleva and Mr. Collins are looking great in their signature color!
Twinning wasn’t on the schedule this week, but these two students clearly got the memo!
After a busy first full week, we’re ready to do it all again! We have another full week of school ahead, so let’s keep the momentum going and make these last few days of August count.
And then… a three-day weekend! There will be no school on Monday, September 7, for Labor Day. We hope our students, families, and staff enjoy some well-deserved time together and come back refreshed and ready for another great week.
Enjoy these final days of August, Blue Devils! We’re off to a great start!
