Mac El and Pipe Creek - January 16, 2026
From the Principal
As we move into this marking period, it is an important time for students to stay focused and give their best effort each day. This stretch of the school year is when learning really comes together, and consistent hard work, practice, and asking questions make a big difference. Our students are building the skills they will demonstrate on IREAD and ILEARN, and the growth we see now is just as important as the assessments themselves. With encouragement from home and school, we know our students can continue to learn, grow, and show what they know.
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day - January 19th
As we recognize Martin Luther King Jr. Day, our school community takes time to honor and celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. King. His message continues to inspire us to lead with kindness, respect, and compassion in our daily lives. As Dr. King shared, “The time is always right to do what is right.” We reflect on his vision of fairness and unity and remain committed to creating a school community where every student feels valued, respected, and supported.

Students have special permission to use the device(s) as outlined in their IEP or 504 plan.
NOTE: Please contact the front office if you have a message to get to your child. Please see the information for Transportation Changes below.
IMPORTANT - Changes in Transportation
Contact Front Office at your child's building
If there is a change in your child's transportation, whether they will be picked up or riding a bus, it MUST be communicated with the front office. This can be done by sending a note to school or calling the office. If you call the office, please make sure you speak with a person. There is a central list at each elementary school, which allows us to check when students are unsure and the teacher may not be available. Do not just send a message to the teacher. The office MUST be notified. Thank you!
NOTE: Transportation changes should be in to the office by 2:00 pm.
