In the Middle

It's been said, but we're finding we need to say it again. Please do not change your course names in Schoology! When you change the course name it changes it for everyone else who also teaches that course causing much confusion for other staff and students! Instead, change your course photo to something that identifies each of your classes. Need help changing your course image, watch the video below.

The DLS team has been receiving many emails requesting student password reset assistance. We have no control over student passwords! If you have parent asking for password assistance, direct them to the Aldine At Home Learning Plan website. On the parent and student pages there is a yellow button they need to click to submit the request for the password reset!

Classroom teachers, please remember to share your materials with your Co-Teachers & GAP Teachers so they can assist their students that are in your classes. For example; if you are using a Nearpod lesson send them the Nearpod lesson so they can make a copy and edit as needed for their students. If you are using a BrainPOP or Flocabulary lesson let the Co-Teachers & GAP Teachers know so they can edit the lesson as needed. Keep working closely with your Co-Teachers & GAP Teachers just like you did earlier this school year BVL (Before Virtual Learning).

This week we will be focusing on the assessment tool. We will offer trainings at 3 levels. In addition, there will be training for Conferencing in Schoology. Please be sure to attend one of the training sessions. Don't forget to sign-in for each session you attend.

Please be ON TIME for your sessions. We start promptly. If unforeseen circumstances prevent you from joining on time, please don't ask us to repeat the entire session after we have finished. Instead, join at one of the other available times.
