July Update
Dear Hilltop Elementary School Community,
The 2026–2027 school year is fast approaching, and we are hard at work preparing to welcome our Hilltop students back to school in August! Please take a few moments to review the information in this newsletter for important back-to-school updates and reminders.
For planning purposes, Back-to-School Night is scheduled for Thursday, September 3. Additional details, including grade-level times, will be shared soon.
A follow-up communication with specific information regarding the opening of school—including required forms, acknowledgments, and other important first-day information—will be sent on August 21.
On behalf of the entire Hilltop staff, I hope you continue to enjoy a safe, relaxing, and memorable summer. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for another outstanding school year!

Hilltop Open House- Pre-K and Kindergarten
Pre-K & Kindergarten Open House
Thursday, August 27
2:00–3:00 p.m.
We are excited to welcome our Pre-K and Kindergarten students and their families to Hilltop for our Open House. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet your child's teacher, visit the classroom, and help students become familiar with their new learning environment before the first day of school.
Immediately following the Open House, families are invited to join us for an Ice Cream Social on the back patio, generously sponsored by our HSA. Afterward, students and families are welcome to enjoy a playground playdate and connect with other Hilltop families.
Grades 1–4 Supply Drop-Off
Friday, August 28
9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
We will not be holding a formal Open House for students in Grades 1–4. During this time, our staff will be completing final classroom and building preparations to ensure everything is ready for a successful first day of school. We appreciate your understanding as our teachers put the finishing touches on their learning environments.
Students in Grades 1–4 are invited to stop by the school to drop off their school supplies in the cafeteria. This is a great opportunity for students to get excited for the new school year and take one thing off their list before the first day of school.
We are excited to welcome our students back to Hilltop for another fantastic year!

Student schedules will be released via the Genesis Parent Portal on August 24th.In order to view your child's schedule, you must first review and acknowledge several important forms (ie: Code of Conduct, Media Release) on the Parent Portal.
