As part of our commitment to student health and success, we will continue to conduct annual health screenings in accordance with Florida Statute 381.0056.

These screenings help identify potential health concerns early so students can receive the care they need to thrive.

📋 Screenings Include:

• Vision and Hearing: Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, and 6th grades, plus new students
• Height, Weight and Body Mass Index (BMI): 1st, 3rd, and 6th grades
• Scoliosis: 6th grade/MYP Y1

All screenings are conducted confidentially in a caring, respectful environment by trained health personnel.

📢 What You Should Know:

• It is recommended for female students to wear an athletic style undergament for their scoliosis screening.
• Parents/guardians are notified before screenings and may opt out.
• Families will be contacted directly if follow-up is recommended.

Parents/Guardians have been notified that all service hours performed in the first academic quarter of the 25-26 school year have been successfully updated in their PowerSchool account. If you do not have a Raptor account, please complete the one-time application to be an approved volunteer in Raptor. Until you have a Raptor volunteer record, you cannot view service hour opportunities or have your service hour times properly recorded.

Parents/Guardians have been notified about the Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST), a progress monitoring system that is administered three times per year to track their child's progress in learning the Benchmarks of Excellent Student Thinking (B.E.S.T.) standards throughout this school year.
